Delete Your Ashta Chamma Data

Last Updated: 16 October 2026

This page explains how to delete your account and data for the Ashta Chamma app (iOS, Android and web), developed by One Point Five Pixels (Appskill Technologies Private Limited). You don't need an email address or password to play, so there is nothing to sign in to first.

Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open Ashta Chamma.
  2. On the home screen, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete My Data. If the button is greyed out, leave any online game you are in first.
  4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete. Keep the app open and connected to the internet until you see "Your data has been deleted".

Deletion happens straight away. If it fails, tap Try Again if it is offered, or Contact Support to email us, and we will delete your data for you.

Option 2: Ask us by email

Use this if you have uninstalled the app, can't open it, or reinstalled it and want data from an earlier install removed.

  1. Email hello@onepointfivepixels.com with the subject "Ashta Chamma: Delete My Data request".
  2. Accounts and recordings don't hold your email address or other contact details, so help us find yours. Include as many of these as you can:
    • the display name you used, if you set one;
    • the approximate dates and times of games you played, and your device type (for example, Android phone);
    • for online games, the room code.
  3. We will reply to confirm, and may ask for more details to check the games are yours. We will make reasonable efforts to find and delete the account and recordings we can match to your request.

What is deleted

  • Your game-server account: the random app identifier, your display name, and the record of your age check and consent.
  • Every game recording uploaded from your app.
  • On your device (in-app deletion only): your display name, saved game recordings and recordings waiting to upload.

After deletion, the app starts fresh: it asks your age again and uses a new random identifier the next time it connects to our game server.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Language, sound and difficulty settings, and small app counters (such as when an ad was last shown), stay on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Device backups may also keep copies.
  • Other players' recordings of online games you played together are stored under their accounts and are not deleted. They don't include your display name.
  • Games already featured publicly, for example in a published video, may remain available.
  • Analytics and crash reports (Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics) are not linked to your game-server account, so we can't single them out. They are removed automatically: analytics data after 2 months, and crash reports after 90 days.
  • Server logs kept by our hosting providers follow those providers' own retention policies.

Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or uploaded recordings from our servers. Use Option 1 before uninstalling, or Option 2 afterwards.
